G4s - Operations Manager

Operations Manager

Salary £40,000 per annum
Location – Leicester, LE4 0FL

Job Outline
To oversee the day to day management of all services on the seven school sites within the remit of the Leicester BSF Contract specification, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and economically. To deputise for the Contract Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities:

To manage and deliver all operational and financial targets across the contract on a day to day basis.
To develop and maintain effective relationships with the Client so that their needs are understood and met, in order to enhance the Company’s reputation and maintain/develop the Contract.
Develop relationships with the Client through understanding operational needs, best practice, training and techniques so that all solutions are operationally and commercially viable and accepted in accordance with the contract.
To deputise for the Contract Manager when required.
To carry out any other activity that is reasonably required by the Contract Manager / Senior Management team.
To support effective customer service across all Sites.
Adherence to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators for the contract.
Attend client and contract meetings as required. Support school site managers for sub contractors PPM planning and co-ordination.
Support school site managers to co-ordinate the process for Damage, Small Works and Variations throughout the Contract
Support school site managers in management, arrangement and closing out of Reactive tasks, Remedial works and Statutory Inspections within KPI’s.
Produce data for Monthly Performance Report to include Helpdesk statistics, PPM activities, and Service performance information.
Assist in the recruitment/selection and training of site FM staff to ensure appropriate resource levels and competences to deliver the services required.
Oversee processes of monitoring of hours required and works undertaken to ensure that specifications are met.
Ensure compliance with G4S minimum standards on all sites.
Ensure the Health & Safety Policy and all procedures and Policies as detailed in the Health &Safety manual are adhered to on all operational sites.
Help perpetuate a culture committed to meeting statutory and corporate health, safety and environmental requirements in order to maintain safe and secure working environments on all operational sites.

Essential Skills:
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Budget management >£3.5m
Experience of Managing Facilities & Hard FM attributes in a Multi-site Operational Setting (2 yrs min).
High Personal Standards of Appearance, Integrity, in line with G4S Values.
NEBOSH general certificate Managing Safety.
Driving License.
First Aid Trained.

Desirable Skills:
Experience of CAFM System (Concept)
Budget control BICSc Training BIFM
