Disguised & Improvised Weapon Systems

Post by Ricky L on 23/12/2012, 11:21

Found this whilst researching for material for a training course I am developing.

There is a UK version which I have used in a past life and is only available for UK law enforcement agencies, but have forgotten the title if any one can help me out much appreciated.

Many thanks

Ricky

Ricky,

Good package mate and an interesting read. What is your target audience, if you dont mind me asking?

My old line of work, not sure if there is any reference in your show of a faraday shirt. A guy was Tasered twice with no effect. No bulky clothing etc but still no effect. Turns out he was wearing one of these faraday shirts which dissipates the voltage from the Taser.

Many thanks for sharing the document Ricky, that is absolutely awesome!
Quite incredible!!

I doubt the UK one will be as complete as that one as the Yanks are at the top of the chain really....

Very interesting post indeed!

The package I am developing is a Search Training Programme that will be for all security operatives and can be tailored to a clients requirement. The idea is to have a basic package that can de delivered well above the level that is currently run as in 'Skills for Security' current security search training. The programme itself will then have 'bolt on's' that will be pertinent to various areas of the industry. Its still in its early stages, and I will be looking for it to be accredited and then set as an occupational standard.

You will have to keep us informed of your progress Ricky. I`m sure members here would be interested in this type of Search course.

Interesting document. :)

Though the ".32 Pen Gun" seems to have a .22lr round next to it?

The "Bolt Gun" is truly terrifying though, it would be interesting to see what the x-ray profile of one of those was. :(

I might have to do some digging and see if we can get a permit to demo working versions of some of these, hands-on would be the only way to really know what to look for is some cases.
